Sandol School has established with the education for world where we can live together, not education for exams and competition. Our educational philosophy is to help people grow and follow the path of nature. With a 5-year integrated curriculum, every grade has its own special project.

As of 2024, 25 students and 7 teachers run the school. Students are required to take the organic farming class and participate in more than 2 hours every week. There will be farm works at dawn during the summer.

The school meal is made with 100% local organic ingredients from the cooperative. Students are encouraged to eat non-instant products and develop healthy eating habits. They also participate in farming the vegetable garden with Sudong-myeon senior citizens.

Students are required to complete a project related to environment once in 5 years and take the organic farming classes. The daily round of school life is connect to the philosophy of environment and organic farming.
