[accordian] [toggle title=”Notice 1 – The Promise of WWOOFer and Host” open=”no”] In order to help everyone build a strong relationship, WWOOF Korea requires both WWOOFers and Hosts to uphold their duties as outlined in the “WWOOFer’s Promise” and “Host’s Promise,” respectively. WWOOFers and Hosts are able to confirm their Promise when they sign up and log in. Hosts are also provided a printed copy of the Promise agreement. Although WWOOFing experiences may vary, the best way to insure a memorable and learning experience between WWOOFers and Hosts is that everyone understand and follow the Promise.

[/toggle] [toggle title=”Notice 2 – The violation of the Promise” open=”no”] In 2015, there have only been two instances of WWOOFers losing membership due to violations of the Promise agreement. We hope that every member makes an active effort to uphold the Promise. In doing so, WWOOfers and Hosts can build a strong relationship culture in WWOOF Korea.

Case 1

Membership No.: F15-0314084

Due to violations of the Promise agreement, the membership of a WWOOFer was canceled on April 20, 2015. This WWOOFer’s membership was canceled after they confirmed the following facts: This WWOOFer went out on holiday but asked her host to pick her up at the station after 12PM. (Violation of Promise No. 13) She also continued using her smartphone during both worktime and homestay, even though the host had asked her refrain from doing so. (Violation of Promise No. 14, 16, 19) On several occasions, this WWOOFer asked the Host to give her money whenever she would go out. (Violation of Promise No. 15) The WWOOFer continued to reside at the Host’s house for another two weeks, even though they had been asked to leave due to violating the Promise agreement (Violation of Promise No. 21)

Case 2

Membership No.: F15-0314084

The membership of the WWOOFer was canceled on April 20, 2015 due to the violations described below. Cancelation of this WWOOFer’s membership came as a result of violation report submitted by the Host. The WWOOFer conveyed her membership information to her friend. This friend attempted to WWOOF by pretending to be a member. In addition, she did not make an effort to notify the WWOOF Host before failing to show up. (Violation of Promise No. 2 and 5)

[accordian] [toggle title=”공지사항 1 – 호스트와 우퍼의 소중한 약속” open=”no”] 우프코리아 사무국 에서는 호스트와 우퍼들이 서로 신뢰하는 우핑을 할수 있도록
각각의 소중한 약속을 만들어 알리고 있습니다.

우퍼는 맴버 가입시, 우핑 요청시 상시적으로 볼수 있도록 되어 있으며
호스트 또한 우퍼에게 답변을 보낼때 매번 확인할수 있도록 되어 있고 또한 프린트 하여
집에서도 보관을 하고 있습니다.

서로 다른 배경을 가진 호스트와 우퍼가 함께 지내는 것이 쉽지만은
않을수 있습니다. 하지만 꼭 필요한 서로간의 약속만 잘 준수한다면
분명 성숙된 우핑문화가 정착될 것입니다.

Case 1

맴버십 번호: F15-0314084

다음과 같은 여러가지 이유로 2015년 4월20일에 제명 되었습니다. (호스트님께서 다음과 같은 이유로 사무국에 요청하여 우퍼본인에게 사실 확인후 제명처리함)

휴일에 외출했다가 호스트댁에 들어오면서 밤 12시가 넘은 시간에 픽업을 요청함. (우퍼의 소중한 약속 13번 사항 위반)
우핑을 하는 시간 및 집에 있는 시간에 핸드폰만을 들여다 보고 호스트를 전혀 돕지 않음 (우퍼의 소중한 약속 14,16,19번 사항 위반)
외출하려는데 돈이 없다며 호스트께 돈을 수차례 요구함. (우퍼의 소중한 약속 15번 사항 위반)
호스트가 다른곳으로 떠나라고 하였으나 갈곳이 없다는 이유로 2주를 머물러 있음 (우퍼의 소중한 약속 21번 사항 위반)

Case 2

맴버십 번호 : F15-0314083

다음과 같은 여러가지 이유로 2015년 6월15일에 제명 되었습니다.
– 본인(A)의 맴버십 번호를 친구(B)에게 알려주었고 친구( B) 는 호스트를 컨텍하였으나 정작 당일에 No show를 냄.
(우퍼의 소중한 약속 2,5번 사항 위반으로 바로 본인(A)의 멤버십을 제명함과 동시에 본인(A)이 가려고 약속 했던
호스트에게도 맴버십 제명을 알림)
